Napa Sunrise Rotary Announces 4th of July Grand Marshal
April 23, 2016
(Napa, CA.) April 23, 2016 — Napa Sunrise Rotary wants to thank the citizens of Napa – you suggested over 70 great, amazing and stellar people for Grand Marshall. YOU spoke and we listened. Many suggested a float to honor a group of people – and that is what we are doing again this year, you might remember that in 2015 we honored First Responders.
We are pleased to announce this year’s Grand Marshall is “Community Projects of Napa”. Napa is blessed beyond measure by this amazing organization. They go, give, serve and do for Napa every day – they are volunteers that exhibit compassion and kindness.
In line with the heart of Community Projects, our Theme for this year’s parade is:
America Serves by Giving – When you decorate your float, think of Red, White & Blue, Stars & Stripes – but also think of how you give. Boys Scouts give. Kiwanis give. Operation with Love from Home gives. PGE gives. Military gives and so many more. Present your best rendition of your giving heart for Napa on this 4th of July and show us how you make Napa a better place for all of us.
About Community Projects:
• $11 million+ given back to Napa since 1941, blessing countless Napa needs.
• A non-profit volunteer Organization
• Raises money through sales in its Thrift Shop at 715 Franklin Street.
• Created in 1941, originally sewed “Bundles for Britain” for the British War Relief.
• The current location was purchased in 1956.
• It is a unique organization and today is a standard of honor in the Napa Community.
Thank you Community Projects for all you do for our community and for the many organizations you have blessed with your generosity & charity of giving.
